Yearbook Requirements –High School

BARKSDALE agrees to supply the yearbook staff with a printed alphabetical listing of all students photographed at no cost. Yearbook Photo CD Each school will receive a publisher CD labeled with student and staff member’s names and grade and teacher. The images on the CD will have specific requirements (PSPA format) and will be specially processed for the yearbook advisor. Hockmeyer will request that students submit a yearbook pose selection and BSP will track the selection. If formal attire is required for the yearbook and BARKSDALE will assist the yearbook advisor with informing students of these requirements. BARKSDALE will send a postcard reminder notice to all students who have not made their yearbook selection as the deadline approaches. BARKSDALE will adhere to all yearbook deadlines set by the yearbook publisher. Final proofing of your yearbook content is the responsibility of the Yearbook Advisor and School Administrators, and therefore BARKSDALE is not responsible for students who do not appear in the school yearbook. Students can review poses using our on-line tracking system. The yearbook advisor has the opportunity to review all senior poses on-line, enabling the advisor to review each student yearbook pose selection. The advisor has the ability to change the yearbook pose selection. Once all selections have been made, the yearbook advisor has the option to ask for a CD to be created and the CD will arrive within two weeks of the request. Candid Yearbook Coverage BARKSDALE will provide yearbook coverage thru out the school year at the high school. This includes sports, clubs, prom, homecoming, concerts, graduation, diploma presentation, and candids, and other important events. Rescheduling due to weather will be accommodated. Our professional photographers know that taking a great candid image requires the perfect angle, good composition and lighting. BARKSDALE will photograph sports candid shots and activities of the school, as scheduled by the yearbook staff. A photographer is available for school activities and award ceremonies. BARKSDALE agrees to photograph one session of every sporting event throughout the year. Unless otherwise stated, BSP will select and cover sporting events at their convenience and scheduling. The High School will notify BARKSDALE of any specific sporting event that requires coverage. BARKSDALE’s staff of full-time photographers is available at any time for unscheduled events and will make every attempt to meet unexpected requests.
