Transition Plan

Hockmeyer with Barksdale is ready to service the needs of your schools and students. Our main objective is to make this transition a smooth and successful one. We will put a designated team together just for your district to ensure the transition be seamless. Sales Team: Sales will meet with every principal, secretary and yearbook person in order to determine any specific needs. Each school will be assigned its own individualized job number and production order form detailing requested items. School Support Team: Our support team enters all data into our School Tracking Account Records (STAR) system. The STAR system was designed specifically for school photography and is capable of managing all information pertaining to tasks and deliverables for each contract. From scheduling photography to tracking production, this information is stored in our database. Data Management Team: The data team will work with district IT support staff to request and obtain the student data needed for picture day and service items.

Photography Team: We conduct a site survey of each building to determine prime photography locations. We have a team of over 80 photographers, many of which are local to your district. The exact number of photographers assigned to each school is determined by overall enrollment. Production Team: We have a vertical operation; all processing is done at our PA production facility. The production supervisors meet daily with their teams to insure optimum quality control over the entire process, from flyer creation to finished portrait product delivery. Customer Service Team: Our bi-lingual customer service team is here to assist administrators and parents alike in an efficient and friendly manner. Providing excellent service is one of the hallmarks of our organization, and one we take great pride in.
